John McEnroe v Jimmy Conners
Federer vs. Nadal has got to be the best rivalries in the Tennis world! In their Wimbledon final I sat infront of TV for the entire 7 hours (i think?) and I could not take my eyes off the screen! Absolutely brilliant job from both.
Steffi vs Martina
Bjorn Borg vs Jimmy Connors
Pete Sampras vs Goran Ivanisevic
Steffi Graf vs Martina Navratilova
Billie Jean King vs Margaret Smith Court
I would say John Vs. McEnrone & Nadal vs. Federer.
Roger Federer v/s Rafa in wimbledon last year was the most thriling and dramatic finals I’ve ever seen.Although before that game I was for boris becker v/s stefan edberg
I agree, that the rivalry between Jimmy Connors and Björn Borg was missing from the list as well as the the matches between Steffi Graf and Martina Navratilova.
Rafael vs. Federer. No doubt about it.
Yeah. Pete Vs Goran. Greatest of all, because of its effect on Goran’s career after the 1998 epic final loss.
The greatest of them is certainly Rafa Vs FedEx
I think the most successful Player Pete Sampras has been forgotten what an omission
in my opinion the greatest revalries of at the Champianships are Boris Becker and Stefen Eberg because they met three consecative times nad all matches were unfrogatle specially in 1990 final.
I think next to Nadal and Federer’s rivalry one that stands out tall is that between Agassi and Sampras.
Martina vs Christine , definitely
FEDERER LIVES IN A PEERLESS ERA
Federer may have won a career Grand Slam, which is amazing! However, there is a reason for him for winning so many Slams in such a short time. Here are the facts. During the Slam-winning years Pete Sampras has had to face 8 multiple grand slam winners (I did not include players such as Michael Chang, Goran Ivaniservic or Richard Krajicek as they each won one only). As you can see, Sampras had to face a much tougher group of opponents in some of the finals he won. Apart from Safin and Hewitt, he has a winning record against everyone else. Conversely, Roger Federer only faced one multiple Slam winners in Grand Slam finals (Nadal), to whom he as a losing record against.
Sampras 12: Rafter 4 (2 slams)
Sampras 20: Agassi 14 (8 slams)
Sampras 12: Becker 7 (6 slams)
Sampras 8: Edberg 6 (6 slams)
Sampras 16: Courier 4 (4 slams)
Sampras 4: Hewitt 5 (2 slams)
Sampras 3: Safin 4 (2 slams)
Federer 6: Nadal 13 (6 slams)
The greatest rivalry for me was that between Sampras and Agassi. Although I was a great fan of Agassi, I respected Sampras immensely.
Its nice to see them both enjoying their lives beyond the tennis courts.
When Federer win Wimbledon and Us Open is he the Number1 but Nadal must failed by Us Open.
i FIND Sampras vs Federer was the best Match ever.
Martina vs Steffi!!!!!100%
In my life,I watched the greatest final ever. That was 2008 wimbeldon final.Even Federer 14 grand slams winner now, fought best to defend his title for sixth consecutive time,he failed to over come Rafa’s movement.
